FIVE POLITICAL PARTIES AND THREE GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATES ENDORSED APC GOVERNORSHIP CANDIDATE – SEN. OKPEBHOLO AHEAD OF EDO STATE GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION

As the race for the Edo State governorship election heats up, the chances of the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Senator Monday Okpebholo, have received a significant boost. In a show of political unity and foresight, five political parties and three governorship candidates have endorsed Okpebholo’s candidacy, citing his impeccable plans for the state.
The endorsement comes from the National Rescue Movement (NRM), Social Democratic Party (SDP), Action Democratic Party (ADP), Allied Peoples Movement (APM), and Zenith Labour Party (ZLP). These political entities have recognized Okpebholo’s potential to lead Edo State to greater heights.
Chief Sam Arcade of the NRM highlighted the primary factor behind their decision, stating, “We took one thing in cognizance, his plan to revive the education sector of the state.” This emphasis on Okpebholo’s vision for education demonstrates the community’s desire for a leader who prioritizes the development of their future generations.
The governorship candidate of the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP), Dr. Bishop O. Akhalamhe, also thrown his weight behind Okpebholo. Akhalamhe urged his supporters to cast their votes en masse for the APC candidate, further strengthening the coalition. Moreover, Akhalamhe advised Okpebholo to form a government of unity upon his emergence as the governor, signaling a commitment to inclusivity and collaboration.
The endorsement extends beyond the political arena, with the respected prophet Godwin Ikuru of Jehovah Eye Salvation Ministry in Lagos expressing his confidence in Okpebholo’s candidacy. Ikuru likened Edo State’s current state to someone ravaged by malnutrition, and he believes that Okpebholo is the “blood tonic” the state needs to rejuvenate and advance.
The endorsement of other political parties and their governorship candidates, underscores the growing momentum behind Okpebholo’s campaign. The community’s unwavering trust in his ability to lead Edo State towards a brighter future suggests that the APC candidate is well-positioned to secure a decisive victory in the upcoming gubernatorial election.
As the people of Edo State eagerly await the September 21st, 2024 election, the endorsement from other political parties and their governorship candidates serves as a testament to Okpebholo’s widespread appeal and the belief that he is the right leader to steer the state towards unprecedented growth and development.
