CAF 2025: Hakimi Triumphs, Nnadozie Retains Goalkeeper Crown

Moroccan star Achraf Hakimi has been named the CAF 2025 African Footballer of the Year, capping off a remarkable season for both club and country. The 27-year-old edged out Egyptian talisman Mohamed Salah and Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen to claim the continent’s most prestigious individual honour.

In the women’s category, Nigeria’s Chiamaka Nnadozie continued her dominance by winning the CAF Women’s Goalkeeper of the Year for the third year in a row, while Morocco’s Ghizlaine Chebbak emerged as the Women’s Player of the Year.
