Our attention has been drawn to undemocratic demonic/numerous secret moves by the outgoing Governor of Edo State – Mr. Godwin Obaseki to influence the Former Governor of Rivers State cum now Minister of FCT, Barrister Nyesom Wike in other to pressure his cousin who is the Resident Electoral Commissioner of Edo State in a bid to manipulating the outcome of the fast approaching Governorship elections in favour of his anointed candidate, Asue Ighodalo but due to the betraying attitude of Godwin Obaseki, Barrister Nyesom Wike turned down his undemocratic and self centered request. Hence, the reason why Godwin Obaseki is advocating for the redeployment of the Resident Electoral Commissioner of Edo State.
Thus, arising from our findings above, we hereby call on Security Agencies and other relevant Stakeholders to be vigilant in order to halt Godwin Obaseki manipulating tendencies before and after the scheduled Edo Governorship elections which will hold next week Saturday.
