PSG Crowned Champions League Winners After 5-0 Rout of Inter

by Tunexreporters

Paris Saint-Germain has claimed their first Champions League title with a commanding victory over Inter Milan in the UEFA Champions League final.

In what was one of the most lopsided finals in recent years, PSG maintained control throughout the match, with all their star players performing admirably to secure this landmark win for the club.

With this triumph at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany, the Ligue 1 team not only became champions of Europe for the first time but also completed a treble after previously winning a domestic double.

For Inter Milan, this marks their second consecutive defeat in the Champions League final, and their performance was a stark contrast to their stronger showing against Manchester City a few seasons ago.

PSG started strong, scoring the opening goal in the first 12 minutes. Inter were caught off guard at the back, and Desire Doue calmly set up Achraf Hakimi for a straightforward tap-in.

The French side had an ideal start, and out of respect for his former team, Hakimi chose not to celebrate excessively.

Eight minutes later, PSG doubled their lead by swiftly counterattacking. Ousmane Dembele assisted Doue, who scored thanks to a deflection off Federico Dimarco.

Marcus Thuram had a chance to reduce the deficit with a free header from a corner but failed to capitalize. In reality, Inter was fortunate to only be down 2-0 at halftime, as PSG dominated the first half, with Dembele and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia both missing close-range opportunities.

After the break, Inter’s coach Simone Inzaghi made changes, hoping to find a way back into the match. However, any hopes were dashed when Desire scored again just after the hour mark with a composed finish.

Kvaratskhelia netted a fourth goal, and then substitute Senny Mayulu found the net with just his second touch, marking the largest winning margin in a Champions League final.
