Ahead of the September 21 Edo governorship Election, the All Progressive Congress(APC) have received a notable boost as Nigeria’s award winning Lady mechanic, Sandra Aguebor MFR, has thrown her support behind Monday Okpebholo and Dennis Idahosa the candidate and running mate of the party in the state. The award-winning lady who is the president of the Lady Mechanics Association of Nigeria made her stance known during a function organized by the APC leaders in her local government where she donated branded vehicle, caps and other numerous campaign items to the Director general of the campaign Senator Matthew Urohide and other party leaders at Uhunmwode local government area.
Exactly two weeks to the election, Lady Sandra Aguebor also known as Robert Kokoma says she is upbeat about the chances of Monday Okpebholo to get to Dennis Osadebe Avenue. In her words, “no shaking. Okpebholo is our next governor. My people believe in me as their leader and so we will all come out enmass to vote for him on September 21.” Sandra Aguebor who is the deputy director of Artisans committee of APC governorship campaign council 2024 donated a branded vehicle and caps to go round the 10 wards of the local government to ensure effective campaign and mobilization for the party.
Elders and Leaders of the APC in Uhunmwonde local government who received the items on behalf of their governorship candidate thanked her and promised to inform their candidate of her gesture and ensure they work together to deliver on the day of election.
