The Sole Administrator of Rivers State, Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas (retd.), has arrived at the Senate for discussions regarding the state’s ₦1.48 trillion budget.
Ibas was joined by other important officials, including members of the economic team, to present before the Senate Ad-Hoc Committee on Emergency Rule in Rivers State.
Weeks ago, the Senate reaffirmed its dedication to ensuring that the residents of Rivers State are not disadvantaged following President Bola Tinubu’s declaration of emergency rule on March 18, 2025.
