(5) Edo Govt to construct 3,000km of road using Concrete Technology – Obaseki
Edo state government is training youths who are indigenes of the State in general road construction, surveying, Carpentry, Masonry, Safety, Lab Technology, welding and road supervision in fulfilment of the vision of the Governor Obaseki led administration to empower over 200,000 youths in the state.

Question: Where are the Investors? Alaghodaro investment summit hotel bills and organisation has sunk Edo state into debt! No investment, nothing to show.
(9) Edo to collaborate with MAN to create industrial park – Obaseki.
Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki has declared that in the next twelve months the state will establish a real industrial park with 24-hour electricity that will enhance the development of the state.

(10) Obaseki signs power purchase agreement, promising uninterrupted power supply across the state, especially in strategic areas, stressing that Edo State is one of the transmission hubs and home of electricity in Nigeria. Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki, has assured the people of the state that a section of the state would begin to enjoy 24 hours electricity supply based on the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by Edo State Government and an Independent Power Project (IPP) to generate 5 megawatts of electricity.

Edo state Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki, has said that the state is safe and conducive enough for investors to engage in large-scale investments.
The governor gave this assurance, when he received a delegation of Chinese investors on an official visit to the Edo State Government House in Benin.

(14) Obaseki to storm Sobe, flag-off Agric initiative Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State will, this Friday, flag-off the Accelerated Agricultural Development Programme (AADP) in Sobe, Owan West Local Government Area of the state.
This was as the government also called on residents to avail themselves of the programme, which is capable of raising over 2000 agricpreneurs and millionaires.

(17) Edo Is Ready And Open For Housing Business” – Obaseki
Edo State Governor, Mr. Godwin Obaseki disclosed that his administration was ready and open for housing business and ready to tackle the challenges facing the sector to ensure that Edo people got affordable houses.
He made the disclosure at the close of a 2-day workshop on Housing/Real Estate themed: “Quest for Adequate and Sustainable Real Estate for Edo People”, organised by the state government.

(21) Edo Govt to leverage on UNIBEN’s Power Plant for Industrial Park -Obaseki
Governor Godwin Obaseki of Edo State has revealed that his administration would take advantage of the University of Benin’s Electricity Generating plant to drive an industrial park within Benin Technical College (BTC) in the state.
Governor Obaseki said his administration would leverage on technology to boost economic activities in the state to make it a hub of the nation.
He continued that his administration would build an industrial park within the Benin Technical College premises, which would serve as the ‘Silicon Valley’ of Nigeria.

(23) Obaseki, Toyota, Yamaha, Mitsubishi, others plan investment in Edo
Edo State Governor, Mr Godwin Obaseki, on Monday, met with executives representing Mitsubishi, Sojitz, Toyota, Sumitomo, Yamaha, Yokogawa, Panasonic and the Japanese Trade Organisation (JETRO) to plan potential investments in Edo state and assure them of availability of resources including labour.
