The Blood Of Slain Inspector Akor Onuh Is Crying For Justice

by Tunexreporters

It is exactly one month and ten days, that Inspector Akor Onuh, the police orderly of Senator Monday Okpebholo, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming governorship election in Edo State was murdered in cold blood in broad daylight at the exit gate of Benin Airport.

Since July 18th, when the life of Inspector Onuh was illegally terminated by state government armed non-state-actors, the perpetrators of the murderous crime has been under the protection and cover of the Governor of Edo State, Mr Godwin Obaseki.

The event that happened earlier today, where William Waba, the Chief Security Officer (CSO) of Governor Godwin Obaseki, disrupted the arrest of Mr Francis Inegbeniki by the police investigation team is a clear evidence that Governor Obaseki did ordered the murder of Inspector Akor Onuh.

For the avoidance of doubt, the police investigation team had named Francis Inegbeniki as one of the prime suspect of the heinous crime, hence the reason for his lawful arrest which Governor Obaseki thwarted through his Chief Security Officer.

In the light of the above, Distinguished Senator Monday Okpebholo, the Senator representing Edo Central Senatorial District, and Governorship Candidate of the APC in Edo State, wish to use this medium to call on Mr President, His Excellency, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun to avail Inspector Akor Onuh justice which his blood and family are crying for.

Senator Okpebholo and the family of Inspector Onuh demands justice to the full extent of the relevant law of our nation. Anything short of this will be a mockery of our democracy and rule of law.

The unprovoked gruesome murder of Inspector Onuh cannot be swept under the carpet and his killers in broad daylight can not be allowed to continue to use government house in Benin City as a safe heaven.

‘Anyone that do the crime must do the time!’ That is the only way we can build a saner society where the sanctity of life will be upheld as originally designed by the creator of life.

Signed:
Godswill Inegbe
