Dangote Refinery has announced that it will commence free, direct supply of petrol to filling stations across the country starting Monday, September 15.
In a post on its official X handle on Thursday, the refinery disclosed new pump prices: N841 per litre for Lagos and South-West states, while Abuja, Edo, Kwara, Rivers, and Delta will buy at N851 per litre.
The company noted that the free delivery scheme will kick off with 11 states before gradually expanding to cover the entire nation. Petrol station owners across Nigeria have been urged to register to benefit from the initiative.
This development comes after the refinery announced, on June 15, the acquisition of 4,000 compressed natural gas (CNG)-powered tankers, with a target of deploying 10,000 trucks before the year ends to cut logistics costs and strengthen distribution.
