The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, has died at the age of 90. A family member confirmed to Channels Television monitored by Tunexreportes that he passed away in the early hours of Monday. His death occurs during the celebrations of both his 90th birthday and the first anniversary of his reign as Olubadan.
He took over the position from the late Oba Lekan Balogun and was installed as the 43rd Olubadan on June 14, 2024. Further details will be provided later.
