President Bola Tinubu has paid a visit to individuals recovering from last Friday’s attack by armed herders in Yelewata, located in the Guma Local Government Area of Benue State, which resulted in over 100 fatalities.
The injured are receiving treatment at the Benue State University Teaching Hospital. Tinubu arrived at the Nigeria Air Force Base Airport in Makurdi around 12:58 pm for a condolence visit to the state.
He was welcomed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, and the local Governor, Hyacinth Alia, along with the Senate Minority Leader, Senator Abba Moro, other federal lawmakers from Benue State, and governors from the North Central region, as well as various ministers and government officials.
