Hon.(Dr)Eguakun Ighodaro Kelvin has today paid unscheduled visits and inspections to some schools and motor Spare parts markets within Egor local government council area under his jurisdiction.
Hon.Eguakun started the visit from Oba Ewuare 11 Primary school,beside Evbareke secondary schools uselu quarter,Benin city and was warmly received by head Mistress,.Comrade Mrs Eghosa Braimoh who took time to enumerate and update the Chairman with the current conditions of the school like insufficient chalkboard, requisitions they needed and so many others whilst meeting the pupils writing their term’s examinations.
Since both schools are proximity and adjacent to each other ,the chairman seized the opportunity to also meet with the principal Mr Ojo Osazee John and other principal staff/teachers of Evbareke secondary School with exhilarating mood on their faces … according to one of the teachers who thanks the chairman for this important visit to their school which is unprecedented,….. saying first chairman in Egor council to visit them in which the chairman made a promise to convey their demands to the state government.,most especially about the facilities of the school.
Subsequently,..the Egor council Chair who went to Evbareke Spare parts market to inspect the marketing environment and to meet with the Exco of the market..as he promised to rehabilitate the roads and upgrade the market facilities.
Under the same jurisdiction,the Chairman also went to inspect the popular Uwelu motor spare parts market which is the largest(Motor spare parts market) in the local government, to assess the environmental conditions of the areas .
According to Hon.Eguakun, as having earlier promised that henceforth, sanitation task force would be inaugurated to ensure strict compliances on keeping the council area clean.
He however returned back to the council to visit some patients that were rushed to the council Referral Medical Centre for emergency treatment and attention,after inspecting operational medical facilities and equipment within the centre premises.
