With a heart full of gratitude and humility, I stand before you today on this remarkable occasion of my assumption of office as the Acting Chairman of Egor Local Government Council.
First and foremost, I give glory to Almighty God for making this day possible. I extend my deepest appreciation to our visionary leader and Executive Governor of Edo State, Distinguished Senator Monday Okpebholo, for the confidence reposed in me to serve in this capacity. Your trust and unwavering belief in my ability to steer the affairs of our local government are not taken for granted. I also sincerely thank the good people of Egor for their support, prayers, and encouragement.
This responsibility is a call to service, and I assure both His Excellency and the people of Egor that I will not let you down. With dedication, transparency, and the fear of God, I will work tirelessly with all stakeholders to advance development, ensure peace and security, and uplift the welfare of our people.
Today is not about me alone; it is about Egor. It is about our collective dream for progress, for inclusiveness, and for a brighter future. I pledge to uphold the principles of accountability, fairness, and integrity as we continue to move Egor forward under the able leadership of our Governor.
Once again, I would want to sincerely thank my ward Chairman, Mr James Ekwase, my immediate Chairman and Leader Chief Emmanuel Iyase the Okao Ologbo and Ehor and my distinguished Excellency Senator Monday Okpebholo, for this opportunity giving to me to serve the good people of Egor Local Government for their trust in me. Together, we will achieve greater heights.
