The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, on Monday night convened a closed-door meeting with key members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) loyal to him.
The meeting, which began at 8:40 pm, is being held at Wike’s official residence in Abuja.
Those in attendance include PDP National Secretary, Sam Anyanwu; National Vice Chairman (South-South), Dan Orbih; former Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom; former Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu; former Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi; ex-Senator George Sekibo; as well as other zonal and state party chairmen.
Earlier in the day, Wike had hinted during his monthly media chat that he and his allies would be holding a strategic meeting later in the evening.
