Decoration Ceremony Held for Newly Promoted Officers Attached to Edo State Government House

The Edo State Government House on Thursday witnessed a colorful decoration ceremony for its newly promoted officers, marking a significant milestone in their professional careers.

Chief of Staff to the Edo State Governor, Hon. Gani Audu, spoke on behalf of the Governor, His Excellency Senator Monday Okpebholo, who was unavoidably absent due to state assignments. He congratulated the officers on their well-deserved elevation, commended their commitment, and urged them to remain dedicated, professional, and loyal in the discharge of their duties. Hon. Audu further assured that upon the Governor’s return, he would personally appreciate and celebrate their accomplishments.

The event was graced by the Deputy Chief of Staff, Hon. Pius Alile, and the Commissioner of Police, Edo State Command.

In his remarks, one of the newly decorated officers expressed profound gratitude to God Almighty, the Commissioner of Police, and the Edo State Government for finding them worthy of recognition and promotion. He pledged, on behalf of his colleagues, to rededicate themselves to service, uphold professionalism, and diligently carry out their responsibilities in line with the vision of the government.

The ceremony, filled with joy and commendations, underscored the government’s commitment to motivating its personnel while reinforcing discipline, loyalty, and excellence within the security architecture of Edo State.
