Benin City, Edo State – The Coalition of APC Muslim Women organized a special prayer meeting for the peace and progress of Edo State, drawing prominent government officials and religious leaders.
The event saw the presence of key dignitaries, including Hon. Gani Audi, Chief of Staff to the Edo State Governor**, who represented Governor Monday Okpebholo, and Hon. Pius Alile, Deputy Chief of Staff, standing in for the Deputy Governor. Rt. Hon Dennis Idahosa Also in attendance was Mrs. Edesili Anani, Administrator of the Office of the First Lady, and Hon. Barr. Bisi Idahomi, Commissioner for Women Affairs, underscoring the government’s support for interfaith initiatives.
The prayer session was chaired by HRH Alhaji Ali Sulaiman, the Ogieva 1 of the Three Ibies, with spiritual guidance provided by Alhaji Fatai Enabulele, the Chief Imam of Benin. The gathering emphasized unity, good governance, and divine intervention for the state’s development ahead of future political engagements.
Delivery his address Hon. Alile appreciate the Muslim woman for their steadfast, unit, in organising such a wonderful prayer for the administration of Senator Monday Opkebholo to succeed on his election promises. He said the Muslim community should also count on his support when activities like this come up.
The Coalition of APC Muslim Women stated that the event was part of their commitment to fostering harmony and national cohesion through faith-based engagements.
