My dear brother, Prof. Edoba Omoregie, it is again that time of the year that I look forward to that I may greet you a celebrate your life of value and superlative achievement. It is your birthday, and I am overjoyed that indeed, you have increased in grace and grandeur.
I am not only happy for you that you have attained the apex of your profession and your career – a Senior Advocate and Professor, but that there is a crowning of your endeavours with your latest appointment as the Vice Chancellor of the prestigious University of Benin.
I want to say that the trajectory of your achievements goes to show the excellence of your existence, which is predicated on the virtues of dedication, focus, vision, sacrifice and faith.
And it is apparent that by your faithfulness to these virtues you have not only climbed the ladder of accomplishment but have made impact on countless people and the society. As a dedicated teacher and advocate, you have illuminated the pathways to knowledge and life as well as pursued the course of justice for the progress of society and humanity. You have exhibited a distinction that could not be ignored for reward. And here you are, like a diamond in the sky. It is a fact that by your exemplary and enviable life you have not only become an icon but an inspiration.
