Following the announcement of his separation from his wife, Annie Macaulay, Nigerian music star Innocent Idibia, widely known as Tuface or 2baba, has confirmed his relationship with Natasha Osawaru, the Deputy Majority Leader of the Edo State House of Assembly.

Amid swirling rumors about their romance, Tuface made headlines on Monday when he appeared at the Edo State House of Assembly during a legislative session. While many on social media speculated about the reason for his visit, others interpreted it as a confirmation of his relationship with the lawmaker.

In a video posted on his Instagram early Wednesday morning, the iconic singer addressed the speculation directly. Confirming his feelings for Osawaru, Tuface said, “Yes, I love her. I want to marry her.” He voiced his support for her amidst negative comments, stating, “Honourable Natasha has been insulted and called names. She is a remarkable and wonderful woman.”

Tuface clarified that Osawaru is not the cause of the issues between him and Annie. He remarked, “She is not involved in the troubles with Annie, yet I see attempts to connect her to it. Yes, I love her. She is fantastic, and I want to marry her.”

In January, Tuface had surprised fans when he revealed via social media that he and Annie had been living apart for some time and had filed for divorce. He expressed, “Hello to my beautiful people. I must share that Annie and I have been separated for a while and have filed for divorce. I will issue a press release soon to share my side—not because anyone has the right to know my private life, but because I care for my fans and want to clarify my position. Stay blessed, everyone. I love you all.”
