Hon. Ighodaro Kelvin Eguakun, the Egor local government chairman met with roadmakers in Egor local government area of the state, at the council secretariat Tuesday, to familiarize himself with them.
Speaking during the meeting, the chairman heartily welcomed them to the meeting amid cheers.
He said the change of baton at the council will not affect them negatively. “We will not drop you, because you are important, and you are doing a great job of environmental cleanliness as well making access roads passable, motorable and clean,” he assured them.
In conclusion the council boss intimated the roadmakers that one of his cardinal programs is to clean egor up positing that they are part of those to be engaged for the task. The boss promised that they will not only be retained, but shall be encouraged by way of salary review.
