Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has participated in the current local government elections by casting his vote. He and his wife, Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, arrived at polling units 06 and 07 located at St. Stephen Nursery and Primary School on Adeniji Adele Road, Lagos Island, around 11 am.
The governor cast his vote at 11:28 am. Meanwhile, Deputy Governor Kadri Hamzat voted at his polling center in Oke-Balogun, Epe, at 11:05 am.
These elections are being conducted for various positions, including chairmanship, vice-chairmanship, and councillorship, across the 20 local government areas and 37 local council development areas in the state.
