Afrobeats artist Davido has shown his support for social media activist VeryDarkMan, who is currently in custody.
His arrest reportedly took place shortly after he visited a new bank branch to address concerns about unauthorized transactions from his mother’s account.
In a tweet, Davido acknowledged the positive influence VDM has had on many, despite the controversies that surround him.
The Grammy nominee remarked that the widespread support for VDM is uplifting and inspires him to do even more for the community.
“Amidst all the noise, it’s heartening to see that one’s good deeds make a difference in people’s lives, and that they are appreciated! The support for VDM I’m witnessing everywhere is uplifting, encouraging me to contribute more to the community.”
