This very important appointment does not come to me as a surprise, given your obvious dedication to the growth and development of the APC, over the years, and your unwavering commitment to the election of Sen. Monday Okpebholo as the Governor of Edo State.
Nevertheless, I want to say that this appointment is not only a reward for your onerous service to our dear Party, it is also is an attestation to the recognition of your character and capacity to add value to the development agenda of the visionary and revolutionary government of Sen. Monday Okpebholo, which is already on a trajectory of surpassing expectations.
Your success story as a businessman, human resource and capital resource manager bears eloquent testimony to your qualification for the task entrusted to you as well as the potential for you to make a huge success of it. With you at the head of the Forestry Commission, there is no gainsaying that the government has got itself a good deal for the maximisation of the economic potential of our forestry resources as well as safeguarding it against unhealthy practices.
I make bold to say that the summary of your appointment is that you are obviously a square peg in a square hole.
