Governors from the All Progressives Congress (APC) visited former President Muhammadu Buhari at his residence in Kaduna on Monday.
The visit was organized by the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) and was led by its chairman, Hope Uzodinma, who is also the Governor of Imo State.
After the meeting, Uzodinma shared with the media that the purpose of the visit was to convey warm Sallah wishes to Buhari and congratulate him on completing the Ramadan fast. He emphasized that the visit symbolized respect, loyalty, and appreciation for Buhari’s leadership and legacy.
Uzodinma also highlighted the party’s commitment to the principles of good governance that Buhari advocated during his presidency.
In addition, the visit offered an opportunity for the group to extend their best wishes to Buhari as he settles into his newly renovated home. Among those present were Gombe State Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, along with governors from several states, including Kaduna, Kwara, Nasarawa, Ebonyi, Kebbi, Edo, Kogi, Ondo, Ekiti, and Benue, as well as the deputy governor of Jigawa and the Minister of Budget and National Planning, along with other dignitaries.
