Effective Security strategy and welfare of security agencies are concerned priorities of Egor LG boss, Hon. (Dr.) Eguakun Ighodaro Kelvin.
Egor Local Government Acting Chairman, Hon. (Dr.) Eguakun Ighodaro Kelvin held enlarge security meeting with the security Agencies in Egor Local Government Area to strategize better security strategies in favour of the people of Egor LGA on Wednesday 12th March, 2025.
The security Agencies present include the Nigerian Police, Nigerian Civil Defence Corp (NCDC); Nigerian Immigration and Edo State Vigilante Network.
Meanwhile after carefully looking into the issue of security in Egor LGA, the Acting Chairman, Hon. (Dr.) Eguakun Ighodaro Kelvin promised to fix all the faulty security vehicles that would be used to reduce crime. More so, Egor Local Government boss further informed the security agencies that their vehicle beyond repair will be looked at by him as soon as possible.
However, Hon. (Dr.) Eguakun Ighodaro Kelvin ordered the Sector Commanders of the Edo State Vigilante Network in Egor Local Government Area to get prepared to be trained by the Divisional Police Officers in their area concerned on the rules of security engagement as soon as possible.
The security Agencies appreciated in thanks Egor LG boss for his concern for their welfare and security support all times.
